~* Tubbs Meadow*~ September 6, 2013 ~~*Part 2 of 2*~~ The Great Blue Heron!!

This is the second and final post in the special two-part edition of this topic. In addition to the many wild flowers I captured in their essence, we also managed to take a few wildlife photos as well, of course what blog post wouldn’t be complete without Brett’s famous amphibian friends? Several Green Frogs poked their heads up to stare at us while we made our way in search of the elusive Great Blue Heron. A young Green frog was on his way back home when Brett stopped him for a quick interview and photo shoot. As well as the very elusive Great Blue Heron! Finally a picture or several of this elusive creature.

I practiced around the different functions. I like the blue dropper the best as it really brings out the Herons blue tint and general hue, but alas, most came out too blurry. Once you get too close they take off and play hide and seek with you. So at a distance at full zoom without a tripod you are hard pressed for a great shot with shaky hands.

I usually try and provide more information when possible with my blog posts to help educate, see below.
