Today we went to the Reptile Expo held at the Shaw’s Center at the Brockton Rox Stadium. It was actually sponsored by the Brockton Rox. A quick side note, When I was the Cub Master for Zak’s Cub Scout Pack, Pack 42 we used to go to a game, watch the fireworks after the game, and then camp out on the field after, and chill out to a movie while the kids ran around, best time to brainstorm for the upcoming year…anywho, I’ll see if I can find some pictures and throw together a montage post…Back to the Reptile show!
It was only $5 to get in, and well worth it…There was everything from snakes, frogs, toads, turtles, tortoises, hairy spiders…Bearded Dragons, geckos etc…even a type of cockroach that was actually kind of cool looking. I fell in love with them all, but the Reptile that stands out the most is the Red Footed Tortoise…I wish I had thought to take a picture of them! But feel free to Google a picture of them. There was one hatching while we were there.
We definitely plan to attend the New England Reptile Expo in October in New Hampshire. If you want more information on that event or for other Expos that may be in your area visit http://www.reptileexpo.com/
