Wareham, Ma. ~March 30, 2013

Today Brett and I took Zak and Jordan to Wareham, more specifically the area where Brett lived with his dad. We saw the house he grew up in, the pond he swam in, the playground he played at, and of coarse the bogs he explored…

We parked at Glen Charlie Pond and walked to the entrance of the woods where the Bogs were, we met some friends along the way as well. Jordan got his first hike with us, and even peed in the woods for his first time as a potty trained boy. LOL! He has become a man. Our hike began with family photos…

The hike continued…and we encountered some friends…

The hike carried on to the Bogs!

Finally we hiked out out that area and returned to the car and headed to a playground, Brett has named Villa Villakula! He tells of a time when he and his bother and sister played here and named a certain area of the playground Villa Villakula in honer of Pippi Longstocking…

Our day ended with dinner at Mac Donald’s in Wareham across from Water Wiz, We ALL had a great day and Jordan was so tired he fell asleep on the ride home, along with Zak who drifted form time to time.

Well, what a wonderful moment! I think it’s wonderful when you stop over some places that we lived when we’re kids and we can remember the good moments and share with people who are nowadays our household. I also saw the pictures, what beautiful place, people, baby and moments. Great! Dear friend. Live it up.

Thank Aang, It was a great day all the way around. We have visited Brett’s childhood stomping ground before, love this place. The baby is one Mr. Jordan Ryan, my son’s little brother, he loves hanging out just us guys! He is at the tail end of potty training and was delighted that he got to pee outside. We were in the woods and his only other option was to go in his pants so he was like ok what the hell. He made it a point to tell everyone he met along our walk that he peed outside. I did of course remind it it is only ok with us while hiking and such, he is never allowed to do that in his courtyard or anywhere else!
